Position Summary

The Production / Prep Cook plays a vital role in delivering the quality and freshness Fuddruckers is known for. This position is responsible for preparing products according to recipes and BMU sheets, maintaining a picture-perfect produce bar, and following all Fuddruckers SER standards, safety, and sanitation procedures.

The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare prep products according to Fuddruckers specifications and BMU sheets

• Set up the produce bar to Fuddruckers standards at least 30 minutes prior to opening

• Stock and maintain the produce bar to ensure freshness, quality, and presentation

• Understand, complete, and update BMU sheets daily

• Follow FIFO procedures and proper product labeling standards

• Maintain accurate production counts and completed items on BMU sheets

• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Clean and maintain prep areas and equipment following the “clean as you go” philosophy

• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items and current promotions

• Assist in other areas of the restaurant during peak business periods (“All hands on deck!”)

• Follow all Prep Job Responsibilities outlined in training materials

• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

• Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with uniform standards

• Comply with and support Fuddruckers’ Core Values

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for 6–8 hours per shift

• Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

• Requires coordination of manual and visual dexterity
